Seaside Cottage, Burntisland, Fife

Location was lovely, great place to explore the Fife coast from using coastal path and trains. The views were amazing. Cottage has everything you need. Good shower. Good communication from hosts.

The trains run very close. If you were a light sleeper this would wake you. No trains between 12-4 am. Didn't bother us through the day, evening. Approach road through underpass would be tight in a big car. Decor a little tired in places.

I loved the view from cottage

I didn't like the cleanliness of the cottage cobwebs in corners ,showe tray all hairs and dust didn't look like it had been cleaned ,windowsills had coffee stains on them and the towels were torn ,bedside cabinets all dusty this cottage was ment to have been cleaned I think they need a new cleaner .

Location was beautiful! Wonderful but the train running every 15 minutes was a turn off.

Spiral staircase and the loft that you can’t stand up in. Had to leave luggage downstairs. And trains going by all night long.

Traumhafte Location - direkt am Meer. Wunderschöne Wohnung, bereits über Generationen in Familienbesitz und herzlich gepflegt. Ausstattung komplett und für uns mehr als ausreichend. Einfache Kommunikation mit Gastgeber. Idealer Ort wer eine Auszeit sucht und den Kopf durchlüften will. "Kinderzimmer" im offenen Dachgeschoss über eine Wendeltreppe zu erreichen - sieh haben ihr "Reich" geliebt. Und die Aussicht! Wowww. Wir können dieses Haus wirklich empfehlen für Menschen die Ruhe suchen. Mein Lieblingsplatz der Sessel direkt beim Eingang zur Stube - mit bester Aussicht auf das Meer.

Alles war top. Was man wissen muss: Hinter dem Haus ist eine Bahnlinie. Im Haus hört man sie manchmal, wir haben uns schnell daran gewöhnt und es hat uns nicht gestört. Und wer mit einem hohen Bus anreist, wird vermutlich nicht ganz an das Haus rankommen. Die Bahnunterführung ist nach unserem Ermessen relativ tief (hat aber PP in der Nähe). Mit Auto kein Problem.

We really loved the beautiful seaside cottage with its fabulous view! 😍 We enjoyed our holidays as two couples with our dogs! ☀️ The beds were very comfy and we had all we needed. 😊 Especially the terrace with seaview was brilliant to relax! The host was very nice and friendly. The check-in was very easy via a key box. We can highly recommend the seaside cottage! 🌊 And we would love to come back!

This cottage has a unique location right at sea with great views on Edinburgh and around. We have spent quite some time on the private terrace overlooking it all. We found it very comfortable and also with easy access to Edinburgh by train and by car.

The train runs right behind the house
