The Hidden Gem in Galloway Forrest

Amazing stunning place, top top site pub, with excellent food and brilliant, happy, most pleasant and very helpful staff. Dog walking facilities to die for and an unforgettable Sunday pub Roast . The scenery was astonishing and the caravan was ideal . Highly recommended. We will be back

The caravan was clean and tidy. Excellent location, great views. Kids had a blast in the park . Swimming pool was good. Enjoyed our stay .

The location

The caravan was outdated and pretty run down. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and had to sleep on the sofas in the lounge. The cushions of the sofas in the lounge also had a bit of a damp smell. Definitely needs some TLC.

The caravan was great as described and the park was lovely. The kids loved the activities like the pony trekking and the pool. Shop and office were open each day and the staff were great as was the restaurant/pub.

Only let down was the bins were still full in the caravan when we arrived and there was no toilet paper. A long handled brush or hoover would have been good especially this time of year with the extra grass coming in off feet.

The site was really nice ,no problem there,but the unit was not up to standard very outdated

On arrival being late afternoon we had bought pizza for a quick meal but to discover the electric ignition on cooker not working and the manual gas lighter with no gas so borrowed one from neighbor,the floor of the unit has 3 soft spots and lounge floor a shabby ole carpet ,all the furniture is recovered very badly,the beds were not brilliant but manageable,there are lots of down points to be listed and so glad we only had a 2 night stay ,was not worth the money ,this unit drags the site down
