The Hidden Gem in Galloway Forrest

The accommodation was very damp and wet on our arrival expected for age of caravan and with the weather being as it was. It was well equipped and comfortable and ideal for what we needed. For the amount we paid we could not find fault. The site itself was good shop was very sporadic with stock and opening times. Restaurant lovely advisable to book. Great walk around the loch.

The blinds in the bedrooms are not suitable they let to much light in and one of the blinds had been broken previous. The additional carpet and covers on the furnishings, I understand the concept they were very substandard frayed carpet (massive trip hazard for our Mum) and this on arrival was not a great first impression.

The area is in a great location if you want a relaxing quiet holiday, the soft play area was great for the children, neach half an hour drive away in a great little port town. The caravan was brilliant very clean and welcoming

Nice and quiet, beautiful views. Bar had good atmosphere. Caravan clean despite below mentioned problems.

Caravan had mold on curtains, ripped sofas and a lot of peeling paint. Shower tray also damaged and leaking so didn't smell great. Swimming pool although free and warm had mold, green and black, everywhere.

Very quiet and peaceful, amazing location with stunning views, especially the sky at night, was like you could just reach out and grab the stars.lots of wee bunnies running around and lovely walks round about. Caravan was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay

Picturesque location. Caravan was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of wildlife, rabbits, birds and horses. Really tranquill. I've found my new happy place

Unfortunately the restaurant, bar and shop were all closed due to out of season but will definitely return when these are open

Loads of amenities on site to keep kids occupied. Very dog friendly site. Caravan was spotless and well maintained.

We stayed for two nights, the caravan was VERY CLEAN! Everything was prepared for our arrival with the greatest care, contact with the owner was very good. I heartily recommend it
