Soben Cafe Guesthouse

The Guesthouse is right in Center of town- 5 Minutes walk to the night market and Pub street which is perfect for having fun and a nice& cheap Dinner. They rent Motorbikes and Bicycles - good Information about it. The room is big enough for two people with an easy bathroom. You can refill your bottle for free (which I really like for reduce the amount of plastic bottles). There is a guard how watches the gate during the night whixh made us feel very comfortable. The AC is very important in Siem Reap with temperatures of 40°C :)

This is fully our fault and the staff even warned us about it, but give yourself the luxury of getting a AC room during peak heat season.

Room and air conditioning facilities all very clean and of a good standard Staff were very friendly and helpful Bike and scooter rental was very easy and convenient Great location in the city and easy to get to Angkor Wat Free water refills and cheap cold water/beer available also

The shower was a bit dated but worked fine

The location was perfect- close to everything but still quiet; the cafe had great drinks and food; the staff were super friendly and helpful, and our kids had hours of fun using the pool table .

The rooms were quite dark, but as long as you’re not planning on spending much time in them it’s not a problem.

The people working there are so amazing. They will always help and are so kind. The room is spacious. Food at restaurant is very great and good price. Loved it here!

The staff, particularly the ladies, seemed to be the more present, were all humble, hard-working and hospitable. The food at Soben was so good that in my 2-3 night stay I always ate at this guesthouse's restaurant. The staff, including this friendly guy too, all helped me out with tours I booked to Angkor Wat and Kampong Phluk, as well as my journey to Poipet. The room I stayed in was basic, but for the price as well as the duration of my stay, it was fine. Indeed, if I ever have the chance to visit Siem Reap again, I'm heading straight to Soben Guesthouse.
