Location superb, incredible terrace. Little touches like a shelf in the fridge and coffee machine were an added bonus. Communication perfect, I really cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Nothing - it was perfect

- located directly in the old city but still quite - small room but cozy - welcoming / cleaning lady is super friendly

- check-in after 1:30 pm is 15€, after 18:00 is 45€, even though they can open the door remotely. We only received this message after cancellation was not possible anymore. We said this to Roberta but only very long mail with no real reasons were received - room is a little clammy

The really unique thing about this place for me is the roof terrace. The use of the lovely kitchen and fridge was a massive bonus for making cups of tea, and some people chose to make their breakfast on the terrace. We chose to have breakfast at a nearby bar just around the corner. We also used and enjoyed the cosy sitting room, which would have been extremely useful in bad weather. The access to filtered water was huge a bonus. Although we didn't meet the owners, communication by WhatsApp was superb, and Jessica who came in to clean etc was very kind and friendly. The 69 steps to the entrance are, good exercise!, and the information does warn you about these. So not for everyone, but the bonus of course is the sense of elevation when you get there. The whole apartment is very tastefully decorated, a real home from home. To my amazement we hardly saw any other guests and felt like it all belonged to us most of the time.

The apartment was amazing. Everything was really clean and our room/the whole apartment was super cozy and well equipped. We loved was the rooftop terrace. Roberta and her staff were super nice. We will definitely be back!

We were so pleased to have found this absolute gem in the historic heart of Palermo. We were able to walk to everything (including the bus stop to Monreale) very easily. The jacuzzi tub was a Godsend after a day of exploring. Our room - the Arab Room - was gorgeous and we loved our private terrace with great views. The public areas were tastefully decorated too. The recommendations were so helpful and thank you Roberta - we loved Ferramenta. We can see why it’s your favourite restaurant.

location is perfect, the rooms are spacious, and lovely

the bathroom is a bit small, but ok for a city trip for a few days. it is rooms within an a flat, there is no reception, or person onsite, however the owner is available via whatsapp at all times

Beautiful property in fantastic location to explore Palermo. We had one of the top floor rooms with a terrace balcony, which was lovely to use to relax at the end of the day. The room was very comfortable and the shared kitchen facilities and terrace were a pleasant surprise. The small details (dressing gown, slippers, face mask) were lovely touches. The lady who met us upon arrival was also so sweet and helpful, such a warm welcome to Palermo.

It really was lovely but we did experience the occasional smell of gas outside of our bedroom door (not in our bedroom). We reported it to the owner who has acknowledged it and advised that it only occurs when the heating comes on and no leaks are present. It didn’t affect our stay and the owners are working to resolve it.
