Carrick Cottage - Mourne Mountains

Rebekah and myself had a wonderful stay. The view was breathtaking and only 5min drive to the galley restaurant and Chinese. Cottage was clean cosy with a real hint of age will use again.

The cottage is in a great location, especially for hikers. Something different with great facilities, updated indoor bathroom and shower. Hot tub was great, with on going building works being carried out for possibly a sauna and plunge pool. Looking forward to another stay.

A comfortable cottage where the old and new have been carefully integrated. Really good place to get away from it all and relax. Communication with the owner was excellent and quick to respond Will go back again

Nothing all good

This property was just amazing, the cottage was so clean, had everything you needed. We loved every bit of it & can’t wait to book again. The views were unreal. Many thanks to the host.

Nothing it was fablous

this cottage is a wee gem- and the view is spectacular. Even though it was relentless rain and mist when there it didn't really matter as the cottage was the perfect place to do nothing. The host was so great and responsive

Took almost four hours for the hot tub to heat up once stove was lit, stove heated hot tub not ideal due to time taken once heated was great but no temperature control

Lovely little cottage with old Irish charm and the hot tub was an added bonus (did take a few hours to heat up but we knew that beforehand). Owners were very pleasant when we arrived and happy to chat about the history of the cottage.

Due to the time of year there was a lot of rain and some leakage into the top of fireplace and wall in bedroom. We texted the owner on leaving the next day to let her know about it but received no communication back which was disappointing. Otherwise an enjoyable visit but bathroom is outside which was tricky in the middle of the night in the pouring rain. They are adding an extension to property so that will likely be addressed.
