The apartment was spotlessly clean and so spacious! There were only two of us but we enjoyed having the two balconies- one was great for eating the other for lounging and soaking up the sun. The air conditioning worked well and the facilities were fabulous! Even a Utility area for washing and leaving muddy shoes etc. and we used the washing machine and iron. We didn’t use the oven and it looked as if no one ever has!! The cooking equipment and utensils etc were all provided and we did cook a few meals in the apartment- it seemed to lack nothing! Great to have a coffee machine, microwave, toaster etc. The beds were huge and comfy and the bathrooms were really good. Lots of storage everywhere. The pool was a delight and we loved our swims - we would just lie on our towels on the sun deck area to dry off and enjoy the view. The pool itself was in need of a clean when we arrived but the owners informed the management company and they cleaned it thoroughly after a couple of days. The public areas were well maintained and spotless. Easy to get a bus into Funchal from outside the apartment, and we used Bolt on one or two occasions which was cheap and convenient. We liked the location and the apartment was so quiet. No street noise or noise from neighbours. Just the sea and birds! We loved the beach bar right below the apartment. Also do try the fish restaurant “by the sea” which is on the road going to the beach. It is simple, and serves excellent food at a good price. You won’t be disappointed! We wish we had eaten there earlier so we could have gone again!

The path down to the beach is steep and has several steps- so it is quite hard work. But it is right next to the apartment so gives very easy access to the sea!

Getting the keys could be easier

Fantastyczny widok z tarasu, wszystkie okna wychodziły na ocean skąd było widać plażę Formosa. Kuchnia doskonale wyposażona we wszystko co potrzebne. Bezproblemowy odbiór kluczy i prezentacja apartamentu. Na tarasie niższego budynku kameralny basen o głębokości około 1,4m - dla dzieci rewelacyjny jak również dorosły mógł nieco popływać :) Naprzeciwko budynku znajduje się rewelacyjna kawiarnia gdzie można kupić świeże bułeczki na śniadanie, mały sklepik z owocami i warzywami oraz apteka. Około 400m od apartamentu jest najlepszy w okolicy market Continental. Mieliśmy przyjemność poznać właściciela obiektu - przesympatyczny starszy Pan, którego bardzo pozdrawiamy!!!

Polecamy wynająć nieco wyższy i krótszy samochód - będzie się łatwiej wjeżdżało do hali garażowej :)
