The Best Sea View Apartment by LovelyStay

Beautiful apartment with excellent facilities. It was very clean - almost brand new. The views from both balconys were amazing. Location wise it is near some nice local restauarants and supermarkets with access just outside the apartments to catch the bus into the main town of Funchal, which only takes 15 minutes. A perfect mix for those who want amazing views and relaxation but who can also get easy access into the hustle and bustle of the main town. The apartment also had its own underground private car park, which was really good. We had amazing weather in late November so overall a fantastic stay. Would recommend.

Some advice before arrival on where to wait with your car until the host comes to deliver your keys (as on a Saturday night car parking was tricky) and what to do with your keys when you leave. Maybe suppy an instruction email with photos showing the location and where to wait.

The name of the apartment does not promise too little: from the two bedrooms, the living room and even the kitchen you have a wonderful view of the sea. The apartment is very large, ideal for four people, with two bathrooms. Two balconies with armchairs, table group for dining and deckchairs invite to the great seaview. The large kitchen is fully equipped with everything, so you can cook super yourself. The accommodation is stylishly furnished and offers everything you need. WLAN is available. The parking space in the underground garage ensures that you can explore the island with the rental car relaxed. The check-in was uncomplicated and very friendly. We had a wonderful vacation here!

Unfortunately, there is currently a construction site directly in front of the apartment in the direction of the sea, which is regularly worked on. Therefore it is not very quiet. However, this did not bother us.

Ocean view was amazing for seeing the sunsets. the apartment is very comfortable, everything was new and super clean. the building itself is a bit confusing as it has 2 parts and from the main Dora’s you enter on 7th floor but then u gotta go to 3rd floor and use the garage to help to another building where the apartment is, but there is also another entrance a bit down the road which brings you directly to the right building. I also enjoyed the location although it wasn’t in the city centre but with a bus it took 15min to get to the centre so very comfortable. There are a lot of great restaurants around with seafood and fish and you can also enjoy a short walk next to the ocean. I should also mention super kind and helpful staff not only on checking-in checkout but also during the whole stay they were very responsive to my questions and they also recommend some good places like restaurants car rental company etc.

beautiful location, roomy, comfortable, excellent view. quiet and peaceful we loved it and would come back.

need to fix ac. quite hot even with fans at night. loved the pool but need to supply chairs and lounges at pool. No where to sit.
