Of road parking but some brambles need cutting back

The heat was awful . The fans helped but there was nothing that could have made it better. Just unfortunate weather

The flat was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our week's stay: comfy bed and settee, good strong shower and plenty of room for two of us. The off-street parking was very handy and made for easy unloading and loading on arrival & departure. With car parking being quite costly we were able to leave the car and walk or use a bus. A short walk took us to the seafront and, if you wanted to, you could walk right down to the pier and beyond. There's a good bus service from the end of the road right into the town centre where you could get buses out to other locations very easily. We were only 10 minutes walk from Gunners Park which was a great location for walking our dog each day (supplement is a very reasonable £25 flat fee).

The communal staircase was a bit dismal and smelled of smoke - it had a push light that just about lasted long enough for us to get up or down the stairs. We try to recycle but were unable to as it needed a pink sack for those items. It's a real shame that Southend does not allow dogs on ANY of their beaches, which kind of puts us off a repeat visit.

So much nicer than staying in a hotel. Its clean and lovely and we're very grateful for the milk in the fridge as we'd had a long drive and could have a cuppa when we arrived. Beds are comfy, shower was good, nice space in the living room. Close to the sea and restaurants. Would book again

The cab they don't have seven seated, I have to take two cab, the last day I finally have seven seated
