The Eden Apartment, Edinburgh City Center

Our host Robert was great and responded quickly to our messages. The apartment was very nice and had everything we could have wished for. Public transport is close by. It was quiet. It was very clean.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed for our stay.

Check-time is on the early side at 10am and although we wrote the hosts to request an extension, the reply didn't come in in time as they said they are only available between 10am and 5pm on weekends.

Location was good, both with the Tram nearby, and also a walkable distance to the center. We walked each day, and only used the tram to the airport. Edinburgh is expensive to stay in, and so the price for this place was acceptable and better than most other options we looked at. We can recommend the pub "Brass Monkey" which is nearby.

The extra sofa-bed in the apartment was very soft, and not comfortable to sleep on. As this is an apartment in regular residential area it can be expected that the is some noise. However that noise meant that we woke early as a neighbor started the washer or dryer at 5:45 in the morning. I have set a low rating on the host(s) as they never responded when I replied to their welcome email.

Perfect space for myself and my partner, we enjoyed the easy location of walking less than 2 mins to the tram as well as the lovely comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and living room where we could relax and wind down with some telly
