Lovely house with lots of space in a central location. Didn't meet host but clear instructions were provided to access the property and contact details were provided in case of any problems

We only stayed 2 nights so didn't really spend a lot of time enjoying the benefits of the house like the roof terrace. We all agreed that it would be great to go back for longer the next time

Location was great. It took us a long time to get into the house though! Could do with another shower considering the price. We did have a great time though.

The keyless entry faltered and we could not get into the property after returning from dinner. The customer service team were fantastic and very quick to act. I also read some negative reviews from others and it’s seems these issues were addressed

There was not a double bed for my husband and I and the property smelt a little damp.

the property itself had lovely period features and was was nicely furnished. The TV was enabled for Netflix etc which was good, though expected for the price. The layout was good for multiple guests staying as the living area was separated from sleeping areas. It was also well located and east walking distance from the train station and beach, plus other attractions.

I didn’t like that we were provided with a single roll of toilet paper despite paying for 5x guests for 2 nights - and there were 2 toilets, so one bathroom had no amenities. The bath tub had dark colouring which at first I assumed was stains, but it could be scrubbed off with a bit of effort. There were toothpaste scum marks around the sink and vanity - in essence, the bathroom had not been adequately cleaned since prior use. Given that check in was 4pm (they would not accommodate our request for early check in) this would have provided minimum of 5 hours from when previous guests had left. The level of cleanliness was poor. I also found it unsatisfactory that there was no soap in any bathroom. Their reason that some people suffer allergies to soap was extremely poor and unsatisfactory - if a guest is allergic to soap, they wouldn’t use it. The kitchen was poorly appointed with no colander to drain pasta and a very meagre supply of kitchen utensils. For the price, I expected it to be better appointed. I also expected that as a dishwasher was listed as an amenity then it should be provided with pods so it can be used. But there were no pods. This property was not cheap to rent but the management company was cheap in it’s presentation of the property.

We loved the space and decor of the home and how close to all amenities the property was - a very happy stay

no instructions on any electrical devises. oven dishwasher or tv Toaster didn’t work in the main socket No tea pot or cafetière no soap. in bathrooms limited equipment. Only 6 decent cups and 6 small glasses. 8 of everything Would have been nice to have a few more so not washing up continually No serving bowls. Ltd kitchen equipmen Sadly the garden has been neglected as was a lovely space with table and chairs. For a small investment in pots troughs and self watering device it could be outstanding
