Luxury Spacious Apartment- Sleeps 4 Loughborough

The location was superb.

Couldn't get the TV or netflix to work and no instructions left to sort it. Chair leg broke on one of the dining chairs. We did not get the keycode until an hour before arrival which was a bit inconvenient.

We were really impressed and it was ideal for our short stay. We would return. Apartment was very easy to find. Parking was ideal. Property and surrounding area was absolutely quiet. This was probably due to the dates, Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, and no students in town. You can walk into town very quickly. Aldi is in the next street, as are a number of take aways. Flat itself was secure. Incredibly clean and very warm. Extremely well presented. Care has gone into making it welcoming. Dining table and 4 chairs. Great TV. Main bedroom - One of the comfiest bed and bedding I have ever slept in. 2 showers/loos. Bathrooms were lovely. Nice toaster and kettle, pans etc. Oven worked well. Apart from the washing up bowl, we had everything we needed😊

These are not really dislikes, just observations. Lighting not great in car park but it was easy enough to see. Access to the apartments is not secure, the front door cannot be locked. The apartment is for 4 people yet there is only one two seater sofa, 4 cannot sit relaxed and watch tv etc. There was no washing up bowl. The freezer was iced up at the top. Heating is electric and they confused me at first because the am pm time is reversed but thanks to someone else’s review I was aware and the problem was easily resolved.

Spacious and comfortable two-bedroom apartment with a communal bathroom with toilet and also a shower and toilet ensuite in one of the bedrooms. Bright and large windows. Conveniently located to shopping at Lidl open until 10.00pm and restaurants and take-aways. Convenient also to Loughborough University which was a key factor in our decision to book as we accompanied our daughter to settle her into her campus accommodation. While we did not have a car, the private car park would be a bonus for some.

Just to clarify when booking that access to the apartment will be given remotely. No lighting at the entrance door from the car park. The sensor light in the entrance hall kept flashing on and off.

Lovely apartment, nice and quiet and well equipped. The main bedroom was large and comfortable and both bathrooms were a good size. The decor throughout was very nice and a high standard. It was a great base for a few days visiting family, and close to the town centre.

The main doors to the building didn't lock, but the area is quiet so felt safe enough.
