Luxury Spacious Apartment- Sleeps 4 Loughborough

Beautiful apartment with all the facilities I needed for my stay. Very homely and comfortable. Great location, 6-8 mins walk to town. Easy access to buses, cafes, supermarkets and etc. Host Sriya, was very accommodative. We stayed here fairly a long term and it was perfect was us.

location was good for our requirements. flat was comfortable. good space, although we were not in the flat for most of our stay, only to sleep.

It would have been useful to have some written info regarding how to find the Wi-Fi codes. Some milk would be nice gesture. Also no tea towels for drying up.

We liked the apartment, it was in a quiet location and close to the places and our relatives that we visited. Communication with Hosts was very good, thank you. Arrival instructions were very clear.

We thought the apartment was a bit under equipped as there wasn't any washing up liquid (as that isn't a dish washer) kitchen roll and a table lamp for softer lighting in the sitting area would have been nice. We didn't find any appliance instruction manuals. We only had breakfast there, cereal and toast etc as we hadn't planned on cooking any proper meals so it was fine for a weekend break.

Landlord was responsive

Entrance door broken, some neighbourhood unrest during several nights

The bathrooms are superb The heaters are good all electrical

The beds and the beddings are not good The towels quality were not good. The stove is different from what we are used to. It uses wave heat

Beds were v comfortable. Apartment was a decent size and location was perfect (with parking). Door was via key code which worked though we had initial problems accessing property as exterior apartment door was shut. Host left us a key v quickly when we highlighted our concerns. Kitchen was clean

Apartment was ok but didn’t meet the “luxury” descriptor of its title. Exterior door to apartment block was damaged, bedroom ceiling was mildewy and bedding and towels smelt musty and were not inviting (dirty marks on towels and crumpled- but clean bedding). A lack of general cleaning around windows and surfaces in bedroom- all appeared to result from past problems with condensation/mildew possibly from drying bedding/towels in the unventilated property.

The apartment is comfortable and spacious enough for a family of 4. The location is not too far from the town centre (walking distance). Check in and check out were easy. A designated parking spot is a plus point.

There was a foul smell when we walked into the apartment….like something damped and not dried properly. We figured that the towels and linens were being dried inside the boiler room! Could be the reason but there were also patches of dampness and fungus around the walls and ceiling which might also be the cause. Another negative point is the difficulty to open the main door from inside. The owner had a digital locked installed too close below the door knob, making it almost impossible to turn the knob. It can be a security hazard .

Clean, spacious rooms, ample parking, good value for money, large bath/showers, good location close to local amenities

Could do with extra kit in the kitchen e.g. chopping board, baking tray and extra plates (only three each large and small plates for four people!), some minor wear and tear on the property but nothing unreasonable or significant.
