Second stay this summer. The peaceful location and grounds really allow you to recharge your batteries. A comfortable bed in a beautiful cottage with the extra bonus of no light pollution at all. The hot tub was perfect. Leyla is amazing with keeping you informed with information you need for your stay.

No shaver socket but owners provided adapter unfortunately the fuse had blown ( bought one instead), kitchen knives needed sharpening , shower head would not stay up. All minor stuff.

The peaceful location and grounds. The hot tub was a lovely addition. The forget wall garden next to Primrose Cottage was lovely to pop in and walk around. Leyla was excellent from booking to departure with useful information.

No view of the vineyard and no effort to leave a pack in the property with information. Given the muster point was the vineyard I wasn’t impressed. The facilities were very good but unfortunately the bathroom was mouldy and smelled dreadfully of damp. Such a shame as it let down the rest of the property.

We twice told the owners that two of the Kitchen lights needed replacement, it was very poorly lit/dim when using the Kitchen. The lights were not replaced during our stay. We requested a plug for the kitchen sink, thankfully a bowl was provided instead. We would have appreciated a meet-up with staff, but the replacement bowl was just left in the garden whilst we were in.

Hot water and heating wasn't on when arrived and no instructions about what to do. Found boiler later and switched all on then all cosy and lots of hot water.

The location was perfect for what we needed, the cottage was clean and tidy and was well equipped with appliances. The hot tub was lovely.

There was no WiFi at all in the property, meaning I was unable to use my laptop for my work commitments, and used up all of my phone data. We contacted the owners on the first evening after an hour of arriving, and we were told someone would come out on Saturday. The man, whilst lovely, came and informed us that it just wasn’t working and he didn’t know why. This hugely impacted our weekend, and subsequently had to go and spend hours in a local coffee shop just to complete work calls and emails. This also impacted the TV, and after a couple of hours Netflix would drop in and out all evening. The bed sheets in the main bedroom were also torn, and the noise from the bathroom cistern would continue all through the night. The noise from the tenants upstairs was also noticeable, especially on evenings.
