Calm Cosy House with Beautiful Riverside Walk to Centre

Being near the river, being able to walk along there to the city centre. Took us about 20 mins The house has all that you need for a short stay

Clean, well equipped kitchen. Clear messages from host about using key safe. Beautiful location - the walk along the river into York was lovely.

The location was perfect, a short walk in to town and also a lovely park over the millennium bridge. It’s all walkable. The house is in a lovely quiet street.

It was very clean and an excellent location with a nice walk into the centre .

Was with elderly parents and was a bit worried about the shower tray being slippy maybe a handle in the shower. Was lovely weather when down perhaps outdoor furniture.

The shower did not work properly , the overhead one must have been disconnected ,I tried for ages to get it on , I think because it was a low powered electric one that it was incapable of pushing out the water due to low flow pressure and the other spray one is in a stupid spot . That was the only thing that bugged us , a lovely place though.

The location is great. Kitchen facilities are ideal. The owner is responsive and helpful. There is free parking at the back of the house, which is ideal, access though is only by narrow lane and suitable for a small to medium-sized car.

The main bedroom was ideal. However, the double bed was a little on the small size. The back bedroom was tiny with a double bed that filled the room and prevented the door from closing. There is no washing machine, however, there is no space to put one in the house. Be aware there is parking at the back of the house, but the access is only suitable for a small to a medium-sized car only.
