Calm Cosy House with Beautiful Riverside Walk to Centre

Comfortable, clean and good location

Good location, within walking distance for the city centre. House had everything needed and beds so comfortable. Book with all information needed and welcomed with chocolate, which is always a good start.

Totally refurbished house, which had everything you need for a stay to York City and set up perfectly for renting out to visitors. Parking at the rear was essential this close to the centre due to parking being limited to residents only on the streets outside. The beds, although strangely, low in height were comfortable. A lovely walk along the river was a bonus. If you enjoy a drink there seems to be a lot more pubs available to choose from compared to a lot of other cities.

There isn't anything to complain about, but to make a note that the rear access to the parking space, which has a tight 90° turn to access. After carefully navigating the turn, our large family car safely made it around the corner. Due to the nature of the bend, exiting is a lot easier.

Good communication from booking and throughout the stay, easy access to property, a space to park the car, comfortable bed and a good nights rest, pleasant walk along the river into the city.

Good location walking distance to York centre also frequent bus to centre and outlet centre parking at property advantage. Lovely well presented house with all we needed for a short break

Beds are very low if you are on the mature side

The riverside walk

This house is in a great location. It is a only a 15 minute walk into the city centre along the river - a very pleasant walk - but there are also pubs and cafes that are even closer. There are other nice walks nearby, as well as Rowntree Park. The house is nicely furnished and well equipped with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay.
