Riad Villa with Mediterranean Sea Views of Spain and Gibraltar

The manager Ahmed went over and beyond to make us comfortable. He was there for our arrival. Showed us around the property. Gave suggestion for the restaurant (which was excellent!) and in the morning arranged a breakfast for us at the riad.

The home was beautiful and blew us away! The walk from the parking lot was quick, easy, and passed many little shops. The host was amazing and accommodated every request we threw at him. I can’t overstated how happy we were with this beautiful property!

We liked all of it. Zero bad experiences here.

Upon our arrival to Tanger - Ahmed met us in the port and led us to the villa. Absolutely great experience of exceptional hospitality. The villa (Riad) was beautiful. We had a feeling, that we were in the museum. Every element of the interior was authentic in Arabic style which created a fairytale atmosphere. Very big terrace with a great view! Three beautiful bedrooms with amazing decor, especially lamps. The location is also great. We had quick access to the old city, also not far from the supermarket Carrefour and only 5 minutes from the port. In general - we are happy that we decided to stay there. Again, thanks to Ahmed!

It is not about what we didn't like, but the second night it was a bit noisy outside, on the main road. Maybe some wedding procession or something else. Also, a few minor issues with the sink, that we reported to Ahmed. Everything was good!

The accommodation was incredible in all aspects . The interior was very fascinating with alot of architectural details . Everything was clean and put together and the staff were helpful and friendly especially Mr Ahmed who continuously checked on me and asked if I needed anything throughout the the stay. The accommodation was also very accessible and well connected to all the touristy spots of the old Medina of Tangier but also to the marina within only a short walking distance.

Nothing that I can think of .

The Riad is beautiful like in the pictures, it is ornate. It is located at one end of the Medina with sea views as promised. Ahmed the housekeeper came to help us check-in and he briefed us about the Riad and parking policies. We arrived in midst of the storm so there was not much we could do outside. We ended up using the Riad more as we stayed indoors.

The Riad is fair bit of a uphill walk from the parking and is also vertical. So the rooms are split in 3 levels. The outdoor space on the roof is well designed but we could not use it at all due to the weather. The toilets are on level two and in the middle of second and third level. For our family of 6 pax we found only one toilet fully functional. The second toilet we could take shower in as it is short and too dark. There was no hot water in the basin for the toilet. Ahmed fixed it quickly. Kitchen is on level 3 so that makes it difficult to do up and down as the other living/ dining space is on level 2 especially if you have to stay indoors and cannot access the roof space. The appliances in the kitchen are worn out/ over used. That could have been better given the price we paid for 2 nights. Beds are very high - need to climb using wooden stair. If you have senior citizens and kids traveling with you, this Riad is not the best one as it can get difficult with the way it has been designed. I must mention that the host and Ahmed did help out as much as they could given the weather situation during our stay.
