Riad Villa with Mediterranean Sea Views of Spain and Gibraltar

Really impressive architecture and design. Breath taking I would say. Ahmed was very helpful and related well with our large family group.

How do I say this? It’s a shlep up the hill. Maybe different transportation to the unit from the ferry dock

Our group of seven was utterly smitten with this place. The interiors are beautifully adorned in traditional Arabic style, each detail thoughtfully curated to exceed expectations - as clearly evidenced by the photos on Booking.com, which accurately capture the villa's charm and authenticity. Boasting a terrace, the Riad Villa is a recently refurbished gem nestled in the heart of historic Tangier. This villa, located just a stone's throw away from Tangier Municipal Beach, offers scenic views of the Mediterranean Sea, Spain, and Gibraltar from its prime beachfront location. Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi access and the luxury of an outdoor fireplace, perfect for clear, starlit nights. One evening, we arranged an aperitif on the terrace. As we savored our drinks, we watched people stroll along the promenade and soaked in the panoramic sea view, all while being serenaded by the typical sounds of an Arabic city. Our host, Ahmed, was extraordinarily understanding and patient, managing our requests with utmost care and surpassing our expectations at every instance. He also lent a hand in arranging local tours for us, complete with an Italian-speaking guide, making the overall experience highly rewarding. He is impressively multilingual - his English was impeccable, his Spanish fluent and he had a commendable grasp of French. Additionally, he spoke Arabic natively along with another local dialect from his region. What surprised me even more was that although he couldn't speak Italian, he could understand it perfectly! His linguistic prowess left us thoroughly impressed!

There is always room for improvement everywhere, but honestly I enjoyed every single moment in this Villa! P.S. highly recommended for a group of friends but as well if you want to spend some special moments with your partner.

The attention to detail and the gorgeous terrace overlooking the Gibraltar strait.

I communicated with the host and he sent his partner (Ahmed) to pick us up at the airport. He helped us to the apartment. This was a 10 minute uphill walk and he helped us with the luggage. He showed us the place and gave us the keys. He was an exceptional person who then helped us with tours and car service to the next 2 phrases of our trip. Ahmed gets an 11 of 10. The place was beyond beautiful and authentic and the view was great. It was winter and we could not utilize the space as much as we would have liked.

Nothing could have been improved. It should be noted that this location is a little bit removed from the tourist areas and at the top of the hill and also there are many steps up to the room. There is no elevator in these older buildings so be prepared to climb and lift.

Great location and beautiful views. Easy to walk around. Very nice host/owner gave excellent recommendations for dinner and shops not only in Tangier but also on the way to Chefchaouen

Only thing that wasn’t excellent. Was while walking around the Medina there were lots of overly pushy “tour guides”. We knew to expect this but is unfortunate.
