The School House, Ironbridge

This place is gorgeous. Lovely location with decent parking. There's a huge garden area that our kids ran around in. It's close to restaurants, attractions and the river. The bedrooms were comfy, the kitchen is fab, and the lounge area is just right to chill in once the day is done. There's a family of swallows nesting in the porch, so you have to keep the front door closed - it's lovely to hear them feeding their chicks.

There was a pipe leaking near the washing machine. The people staying in the other rental cottage parked outside our main window so our view was of a car. I think they parked there so that their view wasn't a car.

Clean and comfortable. Plenty of necessary kitchen equipment, bedding, lovely soft towels, warmed on radiator.

To sum it up in two words, ":Absolutely Amazing". Cottage was very well decorated, quirky, extremely spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Breathe taking views from every window and also from with the grounds looking down onto the cottage. Loved the wooden carved staircases and the exposed brick walls, beautiful tiled floor. Friendly horse comes to greet you within the grounds. Cows and horses meet you within the field opposite, again very friendly. Footpath takes you to ironbridge which is about 25 min walk, much to see on way, very scenic so the journey doesn't seem that long on foot. Our fur babies loved it too, they thought they were in heaven, all that wonderful fresh air! Enclosed fencing around the boundary of the estate itself but not within the vicinity actually outside the cottage, but that wasn't a problem, we just kept our dogs on the extension leads because they do tend to wonder, probably a good idea so as to respect the privacy of the cottage next door. The grounds surounding the estate is accessible to all and huge! WE LOVED IT. We will definitely return.

Nothing really, everything was perfect, apart from the shower cubical was a little small, kept knocking elbows on the glass when washing hair and the door didn't close properly, which led to water running down the glass door directly onto the floor, just had to make sure there was a bathmat outside the shower when you stepped out.

The peace and quiet. The beautiful scenery and nature right outside the window. The building was beautiful and comfortable

Love everything there wasn't anything I didn't like.

Lots of character and lovely setting in short walking distance to Ironbridge

Upstairs bedrooms have windows that don’t open so no ventilation at all during heat wave in summer. Unbelievably hot all through the night even with fan on.

A really special property in a beautiful peaceful location. Surrounded by lovely views and visiting deer. The host has been very generous leaving everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay as well as a few little gifts.

We were fine as we are one family. If you were travelling as 2 families/couples you might need to know that the 2 bedrooms are open on a mezzanine level. It was fine for us but others might have an issue.

The Property is stunning the surroundings are beautiful, the wildlife is amazing . Excellent communication from our host .

Lovely characterful property. Homely & relaxed. Everything we needed was available.. All correspondence with hosts was informative & pleasant.
