House is beautiful inside and out. Feels very private behind the gates

No central heating, that we could find. Quite cold upstairs. The fire heats the living room wonderfully just hurts my sensitive eyes. Apologies if there was central heating.

"Wanted a short stay in Ironbridge and was not disappointed with the cottage."

The location was superb, and we felt welcome straight away. There was tea, coffee and even a bottle of wine with cake, you couldn’t help but feel welcome. Everything was exactly as communicated in the email, of how things were going to be left and just made our short stay away very easy. The facilities were good and the property was comfortable and warm.

This is not really a criticism, as the it is a period property, but if there was an improvement to make it would be the creaky stairs, which were only noticeable if you needed a midnight trip to the loo! As I say, not really a deal breaker, but if it could be sorted then would make it even better.
