THE LEMON TREE

Very nice modern apartment and a great location right in the centre of Lisbon. Nice living area, great kitchen, and good size bathroom with a big shower. The owner was very accommodating to our needs.

Norrow staircase going up to apartment but not too bad

Location was great. Apartment was very nice and well equipped. Lots of contact and support from the agent.

Bedroom was very small. Could do with aircon in the bedroom.

Excellent location and the host was very communicative throughout our stay. Very well-stocked kitchen and great for two people.

The images of the apartment make it look very light and airy, but it's only the living space that has lots of natural light. The bed is very uncomfortable and the damp issue in the bathroom hasn't been resolved (this was flagged on earlier reviews as far back as 2023)

The apartment was on 3rd floor, so many stairs, though views down the street from balcony were good, nice to watch everything

The only good thing about this property was the location - very centrally located and walking distance within the city.

The flat was very tiny and narrow, the photos are misleading. there was barely a place to open one big suitcase and a carry on - we had to open them in the living area which left no space to walk around. the bedroom was very dark and narrow and you can not use it except for sleeping. the living area was very small and inrpractical - the sofa was small and uncomfortable (you can only sit and if two people sit there, its very uncomfortable). The balcony is basically non existent - only a large window. there was a transition room with a table which you can't use as if you open it there is no room to move between bedroom and bathroom to the living space. the kitchen was okay, but very dark and with no windows - it did have coffee machine but we didn't use the rest of the appliances. the bathroom was ok, with enough space and hot water, but wasn't very clean - there were a few long hairs around the floor and bathroom wall - we were two guys staying there with short hair!!! there was a very narrow corridor to the bathroom and kitchen - you can barely fit an adult and you can't turn around it. the worst were the staircases - very steep, narrow and it was extremely painful to carry your suitcases up and down - plus when other people were walking up and down you could here them and it was very noice. the flat overlooks a pedestrian street with restaurants - very noisy when window opened and all the smells were coming in from the street. Also, the entrance to the building was through a souvenir shop and it is open to everyone all day look - didn't feel very safe. once the building door is closed you cannot go out without a key which means that if one of you wants to go out there other one needs to go downstairs to open and lock after you. Absolutely not recommending this place. it was very expensive for what you get. for the same price you could get a 5* hotel further the away form the center and I sincerely regret I didn't do that.
