Bay of Islands Apartment with Marina Views

Great location with wonderful views, a good cafe/restaurant & a local boating club which offers meals, all in walking distance. Fantastic access to the walk from Opua to Paihia, about an hour, 15 minutes.

Second bedroom is fine for one adult or two children but wouldn’t work for two adults as it’s too small & with sloping ceilings.

Could not fault the apartment. Beautiful views spotlessly clean. Clear instructions. Will definitely be back. Awesome hosts. Thank you.

It was spacious, and comfortable. Nice balcony and outlook. Well equipped kitchen, having a bathroom at both levels.

The attic style bedrooms upstairs with the bed close to the sloping ceiling, and the exposed beams, a little concerning when going to the bathroom during the night. The bathrooms had no towel rack or anywhere suitable to hang them. No hand towel in the kitchen. There was a scheduled power outage for most of the second day of our stay, which the management claimed not to know about, although the neighbouring property knew 4 days before and the restaurant nearby too. It was quite inconvenient as we were preparing to attend a wedding, ( not ours)

Upstairs bathroom door rather stiff. Significant differences in the size of the second bedroom, so not perfect for two couples sharing but would be fine for a family.

The owner's attentiveness was evident through prompt maintenance response, willingness to grant a late check-out, and welcoming touches like complimentary coffee capsules, milk, and chocolate in the fridge. With excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, comprehensive provisions including quality linens and towels, and a dedicated parking space right outside, this property has all the features for a modern stay.

The sleeping arrangements require consideration: the main upstairs bedroom lacks a door and window coverings, resulting in very early morning light and limited privacy (not ideal for a vacation). The second bedroom, though private, is quite compact, has limited storage areas, no outside views, and is better suited for young children than teens or adults.

Absolutely stunning location and views. Apartment was very comfortable and loved the decking.

The apartment has been set up to take advantage of the amazing views however too light upstairs with no curtains or blinds to block out sunshine in early mornings. Upstairs was also hot so really needs better fan or AC. Second bedroom was on the smaller side.
