New Papa Pippo Resort

This place is a little oasis in Otres beach and Sihanoukville compared to other places. The neighborhood is not the most exciting, but ok for a walk. The beach is 10 minutes down the road. However, there is no need to go anywhere really, because the property has a lovely pool and very good Italian food! If you want to relax and have a good time, then this is the place for you! The owners are very accommodating and you can book all your further travels from here. ATMs and shops are just a short walk away.

The bungalows are a little outdated and would do with a little TLC, but it's really not a problem. Everything works and there is a great hot water shower!

The bathroom light didn’t work so we had to get maintenance to come and fix it. It took them 20 minutes to address the issue. There was only one towel provided despite the bungalow having one double bed and a single bed. Our front door didn’t lock and maintenance came 20 minutes after we notified them of the concern and spent approximately 45 minutes trying to fix it before sending us into a different bungalow. While we waited, the unit was dark (the maintenance person needed to use the key to try the lock which meant that the key card couldn’t be in the slot to connect the utilities (the card was fused to the key to prevent people from plugging the card into the slot and leave utilities on while they are away from the unit) and so we had to sit outside, in the rain (wet season). We found this whole process extremely timely and wanted to change rooms sooner than we were able. The bathroom roof also slanted downwards and my partner 6’2 found it awkward brushing his teeth as he had to stoop down.

Great Italian food here,good for a overnight stay nice pool.

Access to the rooms gets wet, therefore hard to take in the wheel bags. The advertised accommodation category is misleading. I thought a bungalow would consist of an internal living area with a kitchenette. No hair drier provided. Wet Bathroom is not comfortable
