Is not handicap friendly.. Better handrails for any stairs.. I fell going up the stairs and needed help up.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay a good one.

Better than sleeping in your car

Lack of communication, never responded my late check in request (8pm) left an envelope with a key marked #10. Only 8 rooms!! Spend 45 minutes trying to figure out where we'd be sleeping. Turns out the key was for room #6. The person who takes care of the horses, let us know, after questioning our intentions that it was an error. Not a single instruction in the envelope. No answer on the phone number. No soap or shampoo in the shower. Bad experience. Pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

Great location to visit Wild basin early and avoid timed entry. Hot water, comfy bed

The floor creaks a lot and the walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors' every movement. I'm a heavy sleeper so it doesn't bother me as much but my partner found it hard to sleep through the night

The location is good and the cabins are nicely placed in the nature.

This cabin could have been really nice. Some furniture for the terraces would have made the outside areas more inviting. We had to take the furniture from inside and move around every time we wanted to sit somewhere. The cabin is old, which could have been charming had it been more clean and maintained. There is no cell service, of course, you are in the mountains. The main house has WiFi but is only open between 9 am and 6pm. If you need reception you then have to sit outside the house. The cosy vibes displayed on the website and description on booking were non-existent. If you are looking for a primitive stay in the mountains embedded in nature this is the place. It resembles a motel or mountain hostel for backpackers, this is fine, but then the price should reflect it.
