Great accommodation, extremely close to the beach, with a good selection of beach bars/places to eat. Safari was an excellent host - always ready to help, both in terms of arranging trips, or transport, and always ready for a chat!

"Great place for beach holiday"

I love the location - perfect spot for beach holiday and not too fair-away from Watamu - yes the road is not perfect but for me it was part of my Kenya experience :-) They are a few very good restaurant on the beach and Safari was always very helpful , he even took as to a local church which was amazing experience ! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and learn a bit about the locals , the location is very safe . Pole Pole

I wish that they have a nice strong cafe for breakfast !

"Simple and practical accommodation with helpful staff"

Just 1 min by foot and you are on an amazing beach , with a few beach bars and beach restaurants close by. Staff were amazing - gave us lots of help and Esther prepared breakfast always with a smile and super service . Bed was comfortable and rooms nicely decorated.

As other reviewers have said the bathroom issue with water flooding the floor - a simple solution could be made with a shower curtain or even just to leave a mop on the bathroom. The water was standing in the heat and making a really bad smell and then of course using the bathroom always getting wet feet and moving the water around the room. An airer to hang beach clothes / towels also would have been really helpful as we found the humidity meant things were damp days later. Once the road is completed and the access becomes easier I think it will be perfect spot .
