Pole Pole Beach House

The hotel manager Safari was very helpful and polite throughout the stay. He was available via phone through the evening and early in the morning for any questions I had. The highlight of my stay for sure!

Actually finding the property was a task. there are literally NO signs directing anyone coming for the first time and there arent any instructions on the booking page. The property is very hidden away which is fine, but some direction would help alot. There was no shower door/cubical so water ran out very easily from the shower and onto the floor. this made stepping into the bathroom pretty uncomfortable after a shower. The rooms were okay, no A/C unit as advertised but the bed was comfortable and the area was quiet and homely.

Hot water, friendliness of the staff, security. Thank you, Safari for your kindness and promptness.

It's actually halfway between Watamu, requiring a tuktuk or a boda boda to go to the restaurants, banks, etc., but the beach is wonderful, especially at low tide. Fruit for breakfast would have been nice.

The stay was good.Accessibility to the beach was just perfect for us who liked morning walks.

The place was a bit too far from Watamu town and the road is bumpy.Kindly check on daily change of beddings and towels.

It was even better than the photos, great pool and beach. By far the best shower in Africa: powerful subtle temperature changes and handheld. Safari, the manager outstanding

Nothing really although it’s a bit far from watamu town but that was made clear on the website and there are many ways to move around.

The road. Access appalling which means visits to Watamu or Malindi a total pain

The beach house was great and great value and the receptionist Safari was very helpful and nice. The house was a 3 minute walk to the beach and they had some nice beach umbrellas to provide shade. The beach is quiet, white sand and good swimming.

Safari and Esther are incredibly nice and helpful. They are amazing hosts. The bed was confortable and the shower had great pressure. The pool was great and clean. The food cooked by Esther was good.

The beach chairs are broken and the beach side is dirty.

This is a great, clean beach house right next to a lovely white sand beach. The water is pretty warm and there arent aggressive beach boys at the beach. There are tiki beach umbrellas on the beach that you can hang out under. The receptionist Safari was very nice as well.

The house is about 25 minutes drive from the main town, so it's a bit of a hike if you want to go to the fancier restaurants and bars or marine park for diving. We came for the beach so this was no problem for us but might be an issue for others
