Simple check in and welcome

Kitchen coupd have benefitted from simple touches/milk/tea/coffee...that part felt like student accommodation/hmo

It’s nice and clean, close to the train station, easy to get to, staff was friendly

Someone drilling in a wall next to me early in the morning

Clean and tidy

No curtain over window and the blind didn't keep the light out

Conveniently placed for access from Railway station and to town centre.

I think the shared kitchen is a great idea. With a little care from the owners to leave out a few tea bag’s / coffee sachets and complimentary milk would be a bonus . Being a pub and involved in catering I don’t think it would be very much of a problem .

The room was cosy, and I felt very comfortable and safe staying here. Room was clean, spacious and felt light and airy. Pillows are nice and thick. It was great being able to log in to Netflix via the tv, and wifi is available. Bar man was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I'll definitely rebook if heading to the area.

Kitchen utensils and cups needed a better clean but as it's a communal area this is likely due to other users. I ended up cleaning the kettle to have a hot drink, but it needs a de-scale or replacing really.

Friendly welcoming staff and good food. Nice pub with a good atmosphere.

Shared bathroom. Creaky floors and mattress. Small double bed with only 1 pillow each and the final straw was being locked in room, the lock was very difficult to release once inside and at 3am panic set in, we had to pick the lock with tweezers. If there was a fire this would been dangerous. From a health and safety perspective this needs addressing asap !
