Extraordinary views in a holiday home in Valletta

Beautiful view out over the water, we sat and watched the boats and the sunsets a lot. Beautiful flat, nice layout, stylish but homely too, felt right at home at once. It was quiet, no noise from neighbours, and the road outside wasn't busy except for a couple of hours at the end of the day. Also, some of the reviews mentioned problems getting in, but we had none at all. The doors on the street were all numbered, the key in the front door turned easily, the electronic lock on the apartment door was easy once you realised the whole thing turned, and the lift worked fine.

The wine glasses were too large!

I had an amazing vacation in this beautiful apartment. The apartment couldn’t be in a better location, providing stunning views of the harbour and St Paul’s. Also very convenient for taxi drop offs from the airport. I will be recommending Valletta and this apartment to people back in the UK!

Loved the location. And the views out of the balcony window. The decor was very modern chic yet homely.

Non of the kitchen appliances plugs actually fit into the wall plugs. Walls plugs were 3 pins.... all kitchen appliances were 2 pins. Had to use a pot to boil water for a coffee.

A very nice apartment, glad we chose it. Looks better in reality than the listing images! Location is spot-on in an old part of town that's just off the really busy areas, yet still super convenient. Management are around on a Sunday if you need to contact them.

Management unpredictable in responding to messages through the booking.com app, until we phoned them. A fairly serious issue with the tricky building access door lock. Luckily another resident coming out told us they had also got the problem and showed it was actually possible for the key to work, if you persist. I don't buy the argument that 'this is a typical problem with traditional Valletta locks and the weather can affect it (!). Confusion about the apartment door code (we weren't informed in advance of this code, only the lock-box one). The plumbing needed better maintenance.

There was no breakfast. But coffee and tea provided. There was a lift as the apartment was on the 3rd floor this was necessary as the stairs are very narrow and steep. Amazing views, and well air conditioned.

There are no numbers on the outside of the building, we only found the doorway because of the colour blue. The keys were left in a key box, which had the wrong code. We had to ring Ziiing to be able to get a new code. When we retrieved the key to the front door, it was sooooo difficult to open the door. This is not what you want when you first arrive, This difficulty occured every time we tried to open the front door. The apartment has a code opening, after entering the code you are not told to press the key symbol and then turn that handle to open the door. The door handle is only for appearances. These issues need to be addressed.
