Poggio Angelarosa: Lemon Garden Stay&Relax

Il giardino terrazzato con limonaia, tanti spazi per rilassarsi e godersi il panorama, in silenzio lontano dal "fitto"della costiera ma a due passi ( mille gradini) da Amalfi. Poi Antonio e Antonella davvero ospitali, gentili e premurosi.

The serenity and quiet space. Convenient distance from Amalfi beaches, just a 20min bus ride. All the amenities you could want and very spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property perched high above the Amalfi Coast. The beautiful lemon garden was the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Our host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing us with great tips on what to see in the area. Highly recommended for a peaceful and authentic Amalfi experience!

The property is a stunning lemon garden up in the hills of Pontone with a view of Amalfi town. The views are actually breathtaking and worth every penny you spend! The property itself was clean, modern, well taken care of and the facilities were perfect. Particularly the bathroom which had a walk in shower which felt very luxurious. The lemon garden itself is so gorgeous with an incredible view out of the communal garden area. The staff were very very helpful and friendly with providing suggestions and tips and general help with anything we needed. Amalfi town is a 25-30 minute walk (probably less in cooler weather) down fairly steep steps (not to be done in heels!!) and then a 15 minute bus back up which is really convenient and the owner provided us with a bus timetable and help with getting tickets. The price for such a lovely place so close to Amalfi is incredible and well worth the walk and the price.

There was only one place in the immediate vicinity for breakfast which was quite expensive and with limited options. Depending on the budget, this may not be feasible, however Amalfi town which is full of bakeries and cafes is again not far away so not a major issue! There are seemingly no supermarkets (at least that I could find?) in Pontone or Amalfi, so if you have dietary requirements like myself breakfast may need planning ahead for. Extra note: (not related to the property but more the are!) bugs seem to run ravage in Amalfi so bring bug cream!

Amazing stay under lemons in the lemon garden in a so lovely and well equipped comfortable appartment of Antonella and Antonio up in the mountains of Pontone overlook the blue sea. I had everything I needed and well looked after in best hands also when I arrived where Agostina did the check-in with me and showed me the garden, grove and room. On Friday I was having breakfast in the lemon garden of Antonella and Antonio who are wonderful hosts and talked a lot and learnt about Amalfitana and Napoli. The kitchen is very well equipped, the appartment extraordinary clean and situated so peacefulness and idyllically located in old lemon grove full of wonderful smelling lemons. There are a lot of hiking trails to and from Pontone and bus connection. The village itself is very lovely and picturesque. I was also invited to celebrate the padrona fiesta Santa Maria del Carmine and dancing on the village main square together with the locals by music. Highly can recommend the place and feeling which you will find at Poggio Angelarosa!!

We had the most perfect stay in this beautiful property in Pontone. It had so much character, beautifully designed, a wonderful location, the most spectacular views and we woke up each morning in an actual lemon grove. What more do you want for an authentic Amalfi experience! Absolute 5* from us! The hosts (Antonella and her partner) could not be more helpful and friendly and we highly recommend getting breakfast each morning on the terrace, fresh lemon juice (of course!) and tasty fresh pastries. Thank you for the most wonderful stay and all your helpful advice on our ongoing trip. We will definitely return soon! A real hidden gem and the perfect base for our amalfi adventure. You made a Scot and Irish couple very happy!

Beautiful location, lovely studio with everything that you may need to stay in the lemon garden and relax. You can cook for yourself, but on weekends, you can enjoy dinner and breakfast prepared and served by owners. Lovely friendly people.

We had a lovely stay here, and were welcomed by very kind owners. Nice room in a quiet village. Will certainly come back when in this region.

Relaxation is maximum at this place Hosts are lovely and welcoming. The facilities are in high standard and all been created with a lot of thought . Cosmic place with amazing view that i’ll return too.

Accessibility ; this is not for all pepole, for travelers it is more than the common yet worth the extra There is no way to avoid the light during day time - so not for sleepy people during the day :)
