"Rubbish accommodation"

Warm welcome Nice pub Excellent food

Accommodation Room for 2 was no bigger than a kids room,2 old and uncomfortable single beds so close together that you had to shuffle sideways in-between them. No room for a chair Clothes hanging was outside room in communal hallway. 3 tiny drawers Tiny on suite dirty and sink blocked. Escape ladder just rope and playing steps on window ledge Uncomfortable and unacceptable. Booked 2 nights but after sleepless first night had to leave and book alternative accommodation. Contacted for refund but had no reply. Pictures on site show living quarters and look nice . Doesn't specify that this isn't case for all rooms. Very deceiving and unacceptable

Fabulous food. Fabulous service, especially from Eileen Pretty cottage gardens to relax in over a tasty lunch with a refreshing drink. Lots to do in tge evening Pool room, darts, good selection of boxed games

A little difficult to find, even with SatNav .

"Amazing value for a night away"

Large pet friendly room. Friendly staff. Quiz night when we were there which was fun. Amazing value with breakfast included. Fantastic food

Noisy road but then it is an old property so can understand that.

Très bon petit déjeuner anglais, chambre avec le confort du 21e siècle mais des éléments qui rappellent le 18e siècle et Jane Austen. Bon rapport qualité -prix

"Exceptional"

Welcoming staff. The rooms were nice and clean. We were a party of 8 and had an evening meal. The food was beautiful and priced around £16 per person. Would definitely stay again!

"Gorgeous cosy pub and location"

Gorgeous pub and garden and really friendly staff. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Had a family dilemma and the staff were kind enough to let my sister stay one of the nights. Can not thank you enough

"A really friendly pub with great staff and food."

Great staff with amazing chef at breakfast time. Really friendly welcome. It's a lovely old coaching Inn so not modern inside but full of history.

Maybe include more shower gels/ soaps and refresh the bathrooms
