The Tea Garden

They accommodated us to another loaction because of a religious festival close to the tea garden. Their hosting on the other location was also amazing and made us felt like home. We would definitely visit again

Friendly staff, clean room

Waited for hot water, a bit cold at night, internet was unstable, photos and reality a bit different

Nice garden where they served us ‘welcome tea’. The friendliness of the staff and ease of communication.

No proper light in the room or bathroom. This makes the place look shabby and it is impossible to put makeup on in that light. The bathroom was also very small and outdated. They don’t serve dinner or snacks ; must go in the city but that is close and also they give u the possibility to order pizza from a Pizza Hut nearby. The bed & pillows were hard but some people might enjoy that.

The hotel was converted from a house. It has a big garden and a common area with fully fitted kitchen. The host (Shameera) is very nice and helpful. He was also very communicative before and during our stay. Breakfast was also decent.

We booked the room without window, which may be a mistake. Although Nuwara has cooler climate compared to the rest of Sri Lanka, it gets stuffy and hot in the room. It is also worth flagging that the hotel is not close to the city centre so it takes extra time if you would like to go to town.

Amazing place to stay, with lovely welcoming staff, especially Sameera who is the caretaker. All the staff are very hospitable and kind. The garden is very well maintained and you can see people working hard to upkeep. Don't miss going to Moon plains which is just five mins away from the back door (staff guided us). It is 10 mins away from the Gregory lake and you can easily get tuk-tuks once you step out to the main road which is couple of mins away. The balcony gives a nice country side view. The breakfast is amazing. Glad we did not book the usual hotel stay in Nuwara Eliya.

The room was HUGE, balcony HUGE and breakfast out on the balcony in the morning was amazing and a huge highlight

Amazing view. Greenary everywhere. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Very happy with the stay overall .

Room is little smaller

The place was incredible. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was very supportive and attentive. They gave us tips on what to do around. Great location
