Check in process, I had to message several times before receiving the keypad code which eventually was given after my agreed check in time.(3pm) The key for the inside door is difficult to use. The flat is ridiculously hot with NO AIR CONDITIONING as repeatedly advertised. One non working fan was provided. After several more text messages, initially the landlord stating the air con had leaked sometime ago and taken out-nothing more he could do. I complained it was falsely advertised and he agreed I should contact booking.com to make a complaint. The bedding for the living room sofa bed (which was dirty and had several cigarette burns on it) is inside the sofa. It was smelly and not clean. I then contacted him again and he offered to bring a clean sheet. I asked him to also bring a working fan. Fortunately I had 2 of my own fans in my car and brought these in to use in the hotbox bedrooms. The shower room was the cleanest part of the flat but the shower temperature settings couldn’t be altered and locked in position. This meaning the shower was too warm in an already hot apartment. The kitchenette sink pipes are plumbed wrongly. The bin lid is broken and falls off every time it’s used. Underneath the sofa bed was absolutely filthy. We had to change the sofa into a bed, therefore moving it out from the wall and lifting it into place revealed the muck beneath it. Gross. I would say the same about the bedroom floors around the wardrobe areas and visibly hair (not mine) in the bed sheet and curlies in the bin!) drink splash stains in bedroom door. The internet codes in the box are incorrect. I had to message-again- for access codes. The TV didn’t work, I had to message-again/again- for the step by step instructions how to work the tv with the remote. There was a knack of pressing a hidden tv button, stand directly in front of the tv to use the controller, then press buttons in a certain order to get the tv working.

Internet not working. Wardrobe sliding doors in one bedroom wouldn’t open. Each individual vertical blind strip in the other bedroom had to be turned by hand as the cord was missing. Couldn’t turn the tv on with remote. Not the nicest area and difficult to find daytime parking. For £120 a night we expected a lot more.

The apartment had a decent amount of space with two bedrooms, which could be suitable for groups or families.

Cleanliness was a major issue — the fridge was dirty on arrival, which was unacceptable. The towels provided were old and rough and should be replaced. The WiFi signal was either very weak or not working at all, making it difficult to stay connected during the stay. Customer service was also very poor. I contacted the help desk by email regarding early check in but did not receive any response, which was frustrating and unprofessional.

El alojamiento está bien, es moderno, y amplio. Está más o menos cerca del centro, a unos 15 minutos andando de todo. El anfitrión estaba disponible para consultas, y la recogida de llaves fue cómoda ya que fue por taquilla en la entrada.

El sofá cama es muy incómodo, deberían de cambiarlo, es muy duro. Cuando llegamos sólo había dos toallas cuando el apartamento era para 6, es cierto que escribimos al anfitrión y nos trajo las que faltaban al poco tiempo, pero una de ellas estaba muy sucia. Deberían de revisar esos detalles.
