Ensuite Rooms For Two Near Cardiff Central Station

Comfortable bed and nice shower had a fan which was handy as was very hot weekend had an outside area and a shared kitchen, would be better to have a kettle in each room so you don’t have to go downstairs to make a brew. The skirting boards were dirty and window sills could do with a dust but over all very enjoyable stay the house is next to site with workmen doing work so expect to me woken up around 8 am by that noise. Would stay again for a short stay.

Nothing, our room was a mess dirty bedding bed not changed or made dirty towels on the bathroom floor and toilet was disgusting 😑

The location is optimal as it's a short walking distance from the central train station, bus station, and central commercial area. WiFi was decent.

Upon arrival, our room wasn't particularly clean (sheets and toilet were clean, but room - and the entire guest house - needed thorough vacuuming). The property managers were swift to respond and sent a cleaner right away. However, the sewage wreaked and we had to endure an unpleasant odor in the toilet throughout our stay. Another aspect that wasn't great was the absence of a stay-in property manager, which left the communal kitchen cleanliness pretty much up to the visitors, with occasional visits for cleaning maintenance.

Great location & had central heating, ensuite, desk plus a TV. Also had a kitchenette on bottom floor but was small with only microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, plates/cutlery and a very small bar fridge.

Black mould in the shower & bathroom. Only 2 poor quality pillows. Construction literally next door starts at 7am M-F until 2028. Noisy doors when people come in & go out at all hours. Keys for bldg and rooms are in separate locked cases attached to.the outside walls with a 4 dial combo to key in every single time you want to enter. Lighting is poor and you need the torch on your phone to see the dials. This was frustrating. I stayed for 3 wks and wanted fresh sheets & bath towels but was told I had to pay extra for this (despite the linen cabinet being right by my door and offering to do it myself). I had to also resupply the toilet paper myself.

the floors was dirty and so was the sheets towels had stains on them and one of the windows was stuck open so in this weather was very cold power went down for nearly 8 hours from 10pm till morning so couldn’t do anything if the evening when mentioning this to the owners they replied that no other tenant had this issue which is very rude as a paying stayer it’s big standard to keep everything clean and a livable as possible

Location was fantastic and the ensuite was a great touch. Price was good for the location. The team were very friendly and had great communication.

Place was generally not well kept. It was clean but didn't look very appealing, not much effort put into the looks or aesthetics to the place. I think its just bare miminum. Wouldn't stay for longer than a couple days. Toilet and sink could do with being replaced as it is only just functional really.
