Great location - priximity to town was great! Not walkable but a 5 minute drive. Very nice.

The home was in a great location. There were no sweeping views as suggested. The front door and lock were not easy to operate...suggest a motion sensor for better lighting and to find when night has fallen. The house was a 'maze' and did not elicit a feeling of being able to use it properly - everything felt 'jammed in'. For instance, everything in the kitchen was thrown inside the cabinetry; we had to reorganize to suit our ability to use it. The house felt as if a handyman tried to 'fix' issues, and didn't find success. The batteries on all of the remotes were dead. Out of our pocket, we replaced. We did not use the bottom floors. It was not welcoming. The exterior furniture on both porches was past its due date. Most everything was falling apart - some was almost dangerous. They view from the backyard were boarded-up sheds with chicken wire fence. The linens/pillows were very old - they were not as comforting. Overall, the floors and kitchen/bathrooms were clean, but everything else, including furniture, ceiling fans, and corners, was covered in dust/webs. Please clean between the couch cushions and underneath. The 'trash shed" had diapers and open trash bags strewn about; there was a plywood boarded window in the primary bedroom. In the primary bathroom upstairs, the sink faucets were automatic, making it impossible to run long enough to receive hot water. I understand the importance of saving water, but in a colder environment, it's not as effective. I would recommend stopping the promotion of the candy cane machine - parts are missing. The refrigerator, specifically the freezer, screams when opened - the ice maker does not work. I could keep going...But I think that paints the larger picture.
