"Weekend away"

The bed was comfortable. Decent towels, nice and thick, and a useful hairdryer was provided. The room was big enough for us and clean. Beautifully quiet in the morning. The tea and coffee facilities were welcome.

The shower rose probably needs a new washer as it leaked profusely where it connected to the hose so it wasn't as effective as it could have been. A shower caddy to put your body wash etc in while you're showering would be handy. It would be nice to have a curtain on the small window by the door for people who like it dark to go to sleep. We were warned it would be a bit noisy (which it was) thanks to the air con unit on the back of the main building but that it would go off roundabout 11 pm (which it did).

Lovely room to stay in, with direct private access from the road, next to a lovely pub! What more do you need? Well, the room has it all: comfy bed, spacious, kettle tea and coffee, nice bath and shower... Honestly can't fault it!

"Disappointing, expensive stay."

Nice village. Very friendly, chatty staff in pub. Adequately furnished.

No breakfast. Room not cleaned during stay. Noise from pub beer garden meant I couldn’t open the window, so no ventilation. Damp. Intermittent WiFi. TV remote didn’t work and TV kept locking up. Expensive, without offering any benefits of an expensive stay. No chair. Mould in bathroom.

Separate accommodation from the pub, staff very helpful bar was great, we were in the village for a wedding so ideally suited for church and wedding venue

Tired property, not as clean as we expected. For the money charged we would hope for more.
