There was a towel next to the toilet on the floor . May have been a leak . Also, I think there is a wasps nest in the door canopy .

Le lodge n'était pas propre , la vaiselle mal lavé. Les chaises cassées et pas assez hautes pour manger sur la table. Le ménage n'est jamais fait je pense ou très mal . Le matelas est en fin de vie .

I like the structure of the lodge we stayed in. I didn't know that this is a self catering facility when I booked. Anyway, I was surprised that there is a washing up liquid in the kitchen and half a bottle of hand wash in the toilet/shower. We couldn't find the accommodation but when I called, the staff was very helpful in guiding us to the accommodation. There was a sauna inside our accommodation which is a plus. When I text to let them aware that the TV is not working, they immediately came and put a new battery.

The sauna only worked on the first day of our arrival. It never worked until we left. We can't watch TV because there was no basic TV program to watch the news. Everything is on app. The toilet seat is loose. The WIFI is free but it doesn't work as it says poor network connection. We can only communicate with others when we are in restaurants with free WIFI. As soon as we're back, we are isolated. We are elderly people and there are no rubber/plastic bath mat to stand on aside from no grab rails. The staff took our comments on this on board so hopefully, when they install the grab rails, there will also be somewhere to hang towels inside the shower room as there is none at present. I thought the place is clean at first glance but before we left, I checked if we dropped anything in the place and when I bend down to look under the bed, there were empty bottle of drink, some plastic thing which I was not able to confirm what it was as I felt dizzy bending down and bits of papers. Had they supplied broom and dustpan, I would have swept the floor under the bed.

Great location for loch ness and surrounding attraction. Lovely surroundings with the stream and woodlands. Cute hut, has the Novelty factor.

Just could have been done so much better. Wasn't particularly clean, the beds , especially the single was super uncomfortable and creaky as it had lost a couple of bolts. Needs black out blinds- with only 6 hours of dark ness in mid summer- for customer comfort blinds would be a good idea. There's no utensils for cooking, so while basic pots and pans provided there's no wooden spoons or utensils - pots were dirty so we ate out. There's a kettle but ni tea coffee or milk, again a basic provision There's small towels for shower but no hand towels for drying hands after using the toilet. Again a very basic provision. No bin in the kitchen.... No information in the hut about local attractions, restaurants, places of interest etc. I think marketing as glam lodge is misleading ... its basic at best. Such a shame... there's great potential here just not done well or with any thought.

Avevo prenotato la casetta numero 1 con la sauna. Dopo pochi minuti in stanza un topo ha attraversato la stanza. È stato scioccante. Controllando in giro ho notato tantissimi escrementi e trappole per topo nella cucina. La reception ha provveduto subito dandomi un’altra casetta, ma situazione era la stessa. Ho trascorso qui solo una notte che è stata pesantissima sia per le condizioni igieniche sia per il fatto che non c’era la possibilità di oscurare la stanza, i lucernari erano sprovvisti di tendine. Il letto era scomodissimo, non abbiamo chiuso occhio e la mattina siamo scappati senza usufruire della seconda notte. Secondo la Propretaria è normale che ci siano ratti, le ho consigliato di aggiungerlo nella descrizione. Io se l’avessi saputo non avrei di certo prenotato. Non so voi… sono comunque stata rimborsata in parte da Booking.

It suited me just fine, its not the most glamours hut I've stayed in, but I still enjoyed my time and was comfy. Was right beside the river too, so nice and tranquil. Could do with some hooks in the bathroom for towels, and there's only one small bin in the bathroom.

Great cabins in the woods outside Edinburgh rush. - All new appearance - Great basic kitchenette. We even made some delicious meal. - Comfy bed - Huge Lounge seats to relax - Tiny but OK WC and washing zone

As hosts sent a follow up message to let them know how to improve guests experience, here are some tips: - If there is a force major situation like power blackout, would be nice to know it upfront. - First impression arriving to the site was messed up area with construction stuff and cables, etc.
