Happy Sky Ella

Die Aussicht ist grandios! Die Unterkunft ist neu, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Gastgeber haben alle unsere Wünsche und Anfragen erfüllt und möglich gemacht. Frühstück und Abendessen ist liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckt sehr gut.

Das Kissen und die Decke waren nicht sehr komfortabel. Das Kissen war sehr prall und hart. Die Decke war aus synthetic.

The rooms were rustic and like private villas. The room with the mountain view in which we stayed has an incredible view in the daytime. The property is very green with a lot of beautiful flowers. The manager Fahmee was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and convenient. Even though the property is bit off the road and not accessible by some vehicles, it was super easy to arrange tuktuks to head into town. We were provided with a lovely breakfast each morning including an assortment of tropical fruits.

The property is a bit off the road so it isn't easy to access by larger vehicles.

The Staff.

The location. Your car won’t reach there, you need a steep 10 minute tuktuk drive (500 LKR each way). Rooms were basic, there was no AC and electricity was fluctuating, meaning we had to turn the fan on/off hundred times at night.

Gorgeous location and absolutely beautiful buildings. Incredible wildlife; we saw beautiful endemic birds, a lemur and a small wild cat of some kind. Hotel manager was so kind and patient and the breakfasts were the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Top tip, ask him to put you in touch with Sugala, a brilliant tuktuk driver - super reasonable and lovely bloke. Also close to a set of stairs for a challenging but unique entrance to Ella Rock!

Very clean and neat.

It was nice to be surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle of Ella. Breakfast was tasty and generous.
