Happy Sky Ella

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city—surrounded by greenery and very peaceful. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained and the food was also good.

However, we were extremely disappointed with the laundry service. At €30, it was already quite expensive, but to our surprise, our clothes were returned still damp, unpressed, and our white items had a noticeable yellow tint. This was very frustrating and definitely not the quality of service we expected.

Very nice and large room with a balcony offering a stunning view of the mountains. The location is perfect, right at the foot of the hike to Ella Rock, and the staff is super friendly.

Food is decent but not very special.

I loved my stay here! Beautiful, spacious, clean rooms, an amazing view, good location for the hike to the Ella rock and always a good chat with the hotel manager. The tuktuk driver who lives next door became my personal driver. Everyone was so friendly and I felt sad to leave.

Power plug points were less. No foods available at the hotel expect breakfast. we were to use tuk tuk to get food. Pick me coverage is not there. We have to use tuk tuk to get our luggage to the hotel as our car couldn’t make it up the steep road.

Great breakfast, something different every day

First beds were not comfortable, the staff immediately allowed us to switch rooms and that room had a much better mattress

The communication via WhatsApp worked really well and they helped us to organize everything we wanted. The hotel is in the nature. Breakfast was fine but not big or many options.

We were really unlucky and it rained all the time, so the bed sheets and towels were damp and we had to ask for more stuff. The communication with the person at the hotel was difficult because he was not friendly, never asked if we needed anything and didn't understand us that well. The beds are hard so not a comfy night and the shower in the bathroom is directly next to the toilet which was annoying because of the high humidity.
