Luxury flat in Totnes

Excellent location for town. Flat had everything needed for a short stay. Welcomed by host.

Parking was a problem, but we knew that from previous comments, so not unexpected.

Located a short walk into Totnes, which very helpful. Also near long-term car parks. Very quiet and peaceful place.

Parking for non-residents is difficult; it is only available between 6pm and 9am on weekdays. The steps up to the property are uneven and quite steep, and the handrail is wobbly.

Very comfortable bed and accommodating host with excellent communication. Thoughtfully decorated for the most part but not without flaws...

It's worth remembering that the word luxury is relative. The accommodation is, as I say, thoughtfully decorated on the whole but that doesn't mean it's a luxury flat. The main issue is that there isn't any soundproofing between the main house. You can here people talking, going up and down the stairs, the washing machine, the bathroom. I was just visiting on my own, but if you were a couple who imagined a degree of privacy, you would be disappointed. The decorating is thoughtful but needs redoing really, the paintwork is chipped and marked, the carpets a little tired. It's not luxurious. It's also not a flat. It's an annexed bedroom with the bathroom and small kitchen area shoehorned into a corridor. Sorry to be so harsh but don't use the 'luxury flat' description and it would be infinitely better!

Great location. Well furnished. Extremely clean. Very comfortable. Very kind and welcoming hosts. Nice little outside space.

The little patio garden was a particularly delightful place to eat dinner and breakfast.

Excellent location, good value for money, well furnished

Needed a TV I believe the plug in the bathroom wash basin was faulty although the host did not agree. For a short stay it was not a problem but would need attention for longer stay.
