Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice character property and room. Excellent breakfasts. Great location.

The ensuite bathroom wasn't great - particularly the shower. It could get a little cold at night (that didn't bother me but maybe useful for others).

In heart of village. Easy access to other food and amenities. Lovely ambience. Excellant breakfast. Friendly staff.

Due to age of builcing actual car park entrance is very tiny but plenty of available parking and felt car was safe.

External staircase to bedrooms (especially in rain). Bedroom and bathroom too small for comfort. Floor boards very creaky so no chance of sleeping when person above you is up and about. No fruit or yoghurt at breakfast.

Tired (stains on doors and peeling paint) oddly shaped and crammed bedroom. Overpriced for a very basic offering.

Easy to get to. Nice rooms. Nice breakfast. I must beg forgiveness from the management because I misunderstood a message they sent just before travelling about the car park potentially being full and I got grumpy as I needed a space. However, all they were saying is that IF the car park is full, use a nearby free public car park. They were extremely polite in clarifying my misunderstanding, and they reserved a space for me. I found that very considerate, and it made me very positive about them.

Good location and excellent breakfast. Nice to be able to have a drink in the bar in the evening although quite noisy before drinkers headed off to Sheffield.

Room was fairly small with a very tiny bathroom. We could hear the hand drier from the toilet downstairs in the bar a lot whilst in our room. Smallest television I’ve ever seen so not worth having in the room
