Friendly staff, clean room, plenty of parking. Good breakfast.

Very noisy, creaky floors and paper thin walls. Breakfast took nearly an hour to arrive. Very small room and bathroom for the price.

Great breakfast, good vibe

The Manor House its self is lovely. The bar is lovely and the room was just what you needed, bed, bathroom and clean. Breakfast had loads of choice

The noise. My room was right next to the main door and people were coming and going until 4am, opening and shutting the door, talking, shouting and arguing. Even with the window shut it was so noisy

Quirky old inn right in the centre of the old part of Dronfield. Friendly staff and locals. Shout out to Jasmine for her bar chat at night and Isabelle for her lovely breakfast service. The breakfasts are amazing… the chef is an ‘eggspert ‘

Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Location great for an event being hosted opposite the pub.

The building is old therefore the floors creak. The room next door to us did not have an ensuite bathroom, it was opposite the hall to their door. Every time the couple went to the loo during the night, we were woken up by them unlocking their door, locking it, unlocking their bathroom door, locking the bathroom door, unlocking their bedroom door and then locking the bedroom etc. Our ensuite bathroom had damp and mould over the shower and generally had the feeling of needing an overhaul. There were no other rooms that we could have been put into on the night we stayed. On check-in, we were told that we had to order what we wanted for breakfast the night before and had to have this between 8 and 9am on that Sunday, as they were preparing for a function. What they did not tell you was that the function was a coachful of football fans who were arriving at 9am for pints of beer and bacon sandwiches. Great business for the pub, but not quite such a nice feel for the residents. Perhaps a polite email beforehand to those residents to warn them would have been a better approach. Could do with a second bedside lamp. For £140 for the night, it did not live up to our expectations.
