I've chosen this place because of other people's delightful reviews and, I guess, it's time to write my own one :)) Apartments itself for such a low price - just a gift. Location is close to the center and just next to the Botanic Garden. My window overlooked the patio (authentic Sicilian view) and because of that I had the shadow and silence. Room and bathroom were really comfy and clean, but my loved place - the kitchen.. So spacious, light, atmospheric.. sitting here, eating pastries with jam, drinking (as Franchesco said:) ) Italian strong coffee.. feel like a real Sicilian! :) Food for breakfast were in the kitchen cabinet and fridge, everything you might need for cooking on your own you can also find there! But the most important highlight - hosts! On my trip I learned one thing: Italy, in the first place, - is about people. If you are looking for not just ordinary place to stay, but for the place with soul - where hosts don't just cut corners - but do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible - that way :) Fra and his family - such wonderful, funny and hospitable guys! It was great please to meet them and I hope we will meet soon again. This was the last location in my trip, and I can confidently claim: couldn't have been better! :)

Walking distance from the central station where the airport bus stops. Nice to sit on the balcony. Close to botanical garden, zoological museum, seaside promenade and cheap cafes. Big room with a desk and chair.

My booking said private bathroom and breakfast included. Breakfast was coffee and juice but no food. The bathroom is not shared but it is in the other end of the apartment. Just put this info on the page and it would not be a problem. I found the bed way too hard and didn’t sleep well (though I guess some prefer harder beds).

Easy check-in and very nice and friendly family. The house is big and very clean. Location is good and the room is spacious and comfy. Highly recommended!

The host was super friendly, everything really clean. I liked the room with the balcony. and it was very close to the train station so also kind of close to the city center! I can only recommend it!

Good place, clean, spacious and in a very good location ,just 10min walking from bus/train station. Very handy. Close to historic centre of Palermo. Very friendly owners as well. It's nice that there's a kitchen so you can prepare something for yourself as well as coffee machine. That's really excellent.

As I mentioned to the owner, the bed are quite uncomfortable. My back hurt next day and they are super narrow, so I was thinking all night about not falling off from the.

Silvia and her family were wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and kind and welcoming, provided more than enough for breakfast and were always available to help. The bedroom was basic but the kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean. For me, the location was great - right around the corner from Palermo's famous Botanical Gardens and just a short walk to both the old city and the waterfront. I would certainly stay in Silvia's House again. Really good value for money but best of all: the laughs we had and the warmth of the welcome.

The bedroom was a little bit plain and basic but I had everything I needed - including fan for the heat and mosquito window screen. Bottled water and towels were also provided, which was great. The street outside was somewhat dirty - a lot of litter around. But this seems normal in Palermo and wasn't something my hosts could control.

Location is good - next to Villa Giulia and Orto Botanico but if you want to be in the very centre then it is a bit away. Rooms are very spacious, double room is comfy one with big bed. There is a kitchen in apartment and you have basics for traditional (sweet!) Italian breakfast: cookies, waffles, coffee, juices. Cereal is available and some fruits. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Getting in and out of the building - easy. Rooms and bathroom - very clean. Very good price-performance overall!

Just a suggestion - in a wardrobe I would put the shelves up and hangers - not so high, at the moment not the most convenient way of hanging clothes. For me it was not a problem, but during the very hot weather there is a fan which makes noise, so if some is light-sleeper: you are warned! ;o)
