"Very comfortable and relaxing"

8.0

Modern and well appointed with quality furnishings. Aesthetically pleasing and tasteful decor. Appliances all modern and working perfectly. Very thoughtfully appointed...... everything you would need was provided. Pet friendly was very much appreciated, we had a very small dog with us. Extremely comfortable and relaxing, quiet with no passing traffic.

Access to double room compromised by the position of the chest of drawers. Interior door knob on this room came off. Shower controls impossible to operate with wet hands and bath taps difficult. Bathroom sink taps bizarrely "left handed".....i.e. clockwise to open. Front door lock sometimes difficult to operate All these things are nitpicking and did not spoil our enjoyment..,just areas that could be addressed.

"Just acceptable, room for improvement."

6.0

The cottage had been accessorised to an appropriate nautical theme, and effort had been made to make it homely. The location was quiet and very convenient for visiting a lot of Suffolk attractions.

The property is on an unmade road which is narrow. Often had to back out. Parking on the adjoining road was not always easy. There needs to be a maintenance book left on site so that small defects can be noted e.g. the hot water tap in the downstairs bathroom sink cannot be opened, the toaster is faulty. Towels and bed linen are tired, pillows need immediate replacement. Cleanliness was patchy

"Lovely cottage but standard of cleanliness was poor."

6.0

Nice cottage in a great location, could walk to Southwold. Well equipped kitchen. Nice garden

It was not very clean. The wooden floor was dirty. All the blinds were covered in dust. The top of the toaster was greasy. The key safe was difficult to use and the front door difficult to lock.
