Sandy Lane Cottage in Reydon

Shower and bath were difficult to use. the shower was over the bath. the glass screen was fixed so the taps etc could not be reached without getting to the bath. The bath was high and wide and had no grab rails making it difficult to get in and out. The temperature control was not working with very hot water coming out so we had to call out the agents to set it. This lead to misunderstandings and bad feelings. The parking was disappointing street parking at the end of the lane often no spaces.

Very clean, tidy and cosy cottage, stocked with books, dvd's and board games, lovely back garden, plenty of space for a family or group of friends.

It was a little bit difficult to find the cottage at first, because we arrived late at night and the navigation stops on the main road and the cottage is on the side lane and in the dark it looked like the alleyway, so maybe a small sign from the road whould be helpful. And some USB sockets to charge the phone, apart from that, everything else was perfect.

Walking distance from Southwold and dog friendly, well stocked with crockery and glasses for entertaining our family. Enclosed garden was great.

The bedrooms were hot and we did not find the lightweight duvet, until we were leaving!

Facilities within cottage were fine, garden area sunny all day, parking in street short distance no problem.

Garden furniture needs updating, top lock on front door could be a problem for short people.

Good location. 15 minutes walk into town.

Not obvious to find in the dark. Bath too high to get into for the shower. Mattress for main bed needs replacing due to dips and pillows. Oven needed cleaning Parking hit or miss Basin hot tap not working in the downstairs bathroom

Location was good and exactly how it was described, short 15mins max into Southwold. Property was spacious and facilities good.

Main bed a bit lumpy so made it slightly uncomfortable, even though a topper had been installed. Property could do with a little bit of TLC and a proper spring clean.
