Everything! Cosy, country pub feel. Lovely Cosy fire, gorgeous views , a warm welcoming pub. Delicious food, dinner and breakfast. Lovely hotel rooms, clean and spacious.

It wasn’t over clean and not very cosy. V hard bed

There was a lovely atmosphere in the cosy bar in the evening. Enjoyed the wine on offer. Good service. Room was really spacious and water lovely and hot. Despite being on a caravan park it was quiet.

Decor a little tired. Would've been nice to have some shampoo and conditioner in the rooms and some shower gel.

Nice cosy pub, friendly staff. Room was clean & food was nice. Some lovely walks in the surrounding area.

Room was unbearably hot even though the heating was on 0. It was underfloor heating so maybe getting heat from the floor of the room above too but it was too hot to sleep comfortably even though it was cold outside. Bed could do with a new mattress.

Our room ( number 10) was outside the main building & up some steps. It gave the idea that you were on your own away from the noise of the main bar / restaurant. The room had its own entrance & was a relatively nice size & clean .

The bathroom shower had no sliding door on it…. It was supposed to be there , I’m assuming , as there was the sliding rail on the inside of the cubicle… but no door. Which would have been ok, but the shower was that powerful that the water just bounced off you & out of the hole where the door should be, therefore making the floor very wet ! Also only one chair in the room so one person had to sit on the bed. The bed itself was hard & not very comfortable. I don’t think the mattress gets changed as the springs seemed like they wanted to pop out. They made a lot of noise .

The staff make this place. They are so friendly and helpful. They love a chat without it stopping their work. The place is surrounded by gorgeous countryside.

After ringing to say we found walking difficult and could we be downstairs given a room down 5 steps.
