"It was ok"

The place was nice clean friendly

The bed was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs in the materess. Main meals a little expensive to be honest and we had to wait 40 mins for our pudding

Everything was great. Room very clean . Lovely old style pub.

Just a few more places to put one's clothes/ towels in the very clean well organised bathroom .

"Great stop over and worth a stay to explore lower Wenslydale."

Good breakfast. Book direct as Booking.com does not include so i paid extra. View good but over a caravan park (small) behind pub. But nice and rural. Location v quiet. Nice big room and en suite. Well appointed. A Black Sheep pub, great beer.

In a perfect location for our fishing trip to Leighton Reservoir. Great service and food was amazing. Staff friendly with a smile.

"A great overnight stay with fantastic food"

Lovely surroundings great views. Room was well sized, exceptionally clean! Additional pillows supplied in wardrobe. Very quiet. Food was excellent unfortunately due to taking ill had to check out early so was unable to partake in the breakfast:(

WiFi was poor and lack of phone signal in room (not a big issue as is nice to be technology free but in emergencies I was left without family being able to contact me if needed). Room were as clean however lacked cosiness, maybe some pictures hung on walls would take the bareness off the rooms. A fan may be a welcome addition as even without heating on the room was warm!
