Aruntara Riverside Boutique Hotel

They took really great care of when we arrived and left. Breakfast was good and simple. The room was clean.

We reserved the white elephant suite for a night. On the picture you see the bathtub with a view and it looks to be on third floor (top floor) with a great view on the river. Sadly there is 3 white elephant suite and the one we got was on the second floor (so not what the pictures displayed) of course the view was a little hidden by trees and the bathtub didn’t have a view. Also this one looked smaller than the other ones.

Front desk staff always greet us with room keys ready when we return from daily outing/tour. Breakfast is good. Restaurant menu has good variety of choices from western to Thai.

Near airport, 15 minutes away but far from everything else. Need transport to get to city, night Market etc

They had a pool and a nice view

Airconditioning was not working in the elephant room , told them that and they told me because it was turned off that was not the case. Also the hot water crane started to spit out boiling hot water on my 5 year old the only thing they could say is sorry sorry no compensation or whatsoever. The gym is just poor it has 1 treadmill, 1 long walk apparatus and 5 dumbles going from 1KG to 5KG you can’t call that a gym. Just add dumbells till 15kg or 20 so have a proper workout this is nothing. Breakfast is poor and slow staff forgets what you order every time waiting on a freaking coffee for 15 minutes and it comes from a machine. Bed matras really really hard I think if you lay on the floor you will not notice any difference. Swimming pool needs maintenance as some tiles are missing you can easily cut yourself. Deck around pool as lose wooden planks with nails watch out!
