The Old Granary Farm Cottage

Loved being on a National Trust farm which had walks from the doorstep to the river Usk. Even managed a quick swim! Friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Perfect if you like the countryside, and less than 15 minutes into Abergavenny. Shops at Raglan 5 minutes if self catering and not eating out. Would definitely stay again.

A spacious and very clean space. A very comfortable bed and very quiet, I slept so well. The farm fresh eggs were brilliant. Lovely hosts.

My shoes got wet walking on the grass to the apartment as there is no path and part of it was a little steep and slippery.

We loved our stay. The farm is very calm and quiet, and there’s lots to do in the area. The cottage was extremely clean, with everything you might need, and the communication with Julia was great. We loved having dinner and breakfast outside, listening to the sheep and cows.

Nothing it was great stay

Absolutely beautiful surroundings. The cottage was very spacious and had everything you need and exceptionally clean. We stayed for two nights as we had a wedding to attend, so unfortunately didn’t spend much time there … but we would definitely stay there again .

My only grumble would be that you have to walk up a grass bank to get to the room … we had gorgeous weather so didn’t affect us … but if it was raining it could have been a different story

Host provided fresh eggs and milk, views are delightful, location is peaceful, everything is from John Lewis.
