The Old Granary Farm Cottage

The property was clean and lovely. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was great with all the things we needed for a self catering break.

There was only one really big thing and 1 smaller thing we did not like about the property. The location was extremely muddy to get from the car to the front door. You had to walk up A small bank which was slippery. You expect a farm to be muddy but steps would have been good up to the accommodation from the car as no way could you have wire nice shoes to go out for the night. I recommend wellies if the weather is wet. The only other thing we did not like is there was not a curtain on one of the windows in the bedroom which was opposite the bed. So at 430 in the morning the light streamed into the bedroom. We use a blanket from the bed to block the light but a curtain would have been good.

The little slope up to the accommodation would be tricky if it was icy. It was wet when we were staying and no real issue just needed to be careful.
