Bell Cottage by Ludlow Castle with onsite parking

Great location

Everything was lovely in the cottage the only thing was that it didn't say about the stairs which were quite steep on looking at the cottage before booking it did not state about stairs as we thought it was on all one floor.

The cottage is well decorated and cosy. I liked the little touches such as books in every room for people to read. We liked the layout and the kitchen had everything you needed. Good to have a downstairs toilet and in the bathroom upstairs which is lovely. The parking is a bonus and the instructions on accessing keys and car park were very clear. The location was great, its two minutes walk to the castle.

Nothing, but if you are not good on stairs they are as the host points out quite steep and twisty and you need to mind your head. The bedroom is at the top. For us it added to the charm of the cottage.

Property was clean and comfortable

We found it hard to gain access through the gates to parking, easy when you know how, information send when we had already set off. Two very steep flights of stairs to lounge and then into bedroom.

Location is excellent.

The living room sofas are uncomfortable. The bed wasn't the most comfy either. Lack of surfaces in the bedroom was an issue also. Walking round the bed was tight. The neighbours were doing work on their house from 8am including hammering and sawing.

We liked the proximity to the centre of Ludlow and having a designated parking space. The property itself is fabulous. Nicely decorated, clean and warm with all mod cons. Perfect! We didn’t eat in at all so can’t comment on the kitchen.

The accommodation was clean and neatly presented. Situated round the corner from the market square, and castle was ideal to visit the town and attractions. Onsite parking will save you ££££s.

No oven gloves. It's on 3 stories, kitchen on ground floor, sitting room on middle, and bedroom on top. Not a problem for us, but take note if not so mobile.

Excellent location. Well equipped cottage.
